Bleeding Gums
Symptoms such as swollen gums or bleeding during brushing are often early signs of periodontal (gum) disease.
As the condition worsens, the gums may begin to recede, making the teeth appear longer.
This indicates the disease has progressed to a moderate or severe stage.
If you notice these symptoms, we strongly recommend seeking dental treatment as soon as possible to prevent further damage.

Bleeding Gums
Bleeding from the gums can indicate anything from mild gingivitis to more severe stages of periodontal disease.
Periodontal disease often progresses without noticeable pain or symptoms, and in many cases, swelling or pus may develop without your awareness.
Because of its silent progression, we strongly recommend a detailed examination by a dental professional to detect and treat the condition early.

What You Can Do at Home : Proper Brushing
- Check where the bleeding is coming from.
- Gently brush the areas where bleeding occurs, using a soft toothbrush.
Take your time and brush carefully to help reduce inflammation and improve gum health.
With proper brushing, bleeding may decrease within about a week.
However, even if the bleeding improves, plaque and tartar—which can cause cavities and periodontal disease—cannot be completely removed with brushing alone.
We recommend professional dental cleaning by a dentist or hygienist for thorough oral care.
